Hello everyone! It's been about four years since I've posted anything on here. I forgot that I even had this blog! I wrote my last post while I was still on active duty at Fort Jackson. It's amazing how much can happen in four years. Since then, I finished a law degree, which would explain my absence on here. During those years of juggling school and work, there were a lot of things in life I put on hold. I have a whole stack of books still waiting to be read and books that I have yet to write. I'm currently reading a biography of Supreme Court Justice John Marshall, more about that later. It's amazing how time can lapse while pursuing certain goals or projects, or when most of your waking hours are spent working.
I have resumed writing after a two-year break. I originally planned to write a second and third part the book I already have in print, "Alcohol, Boat Chases, and Shootouts," but, due to the unfolding of life events, I have decided to add to the original, going all the way to the end of Prohibition in 1933. Book One ends in 1924. Once that's done, I'm also contemplating making an ornate leather-bound version for book collectors. It's hard to really know where to start to catch up on after four years, but this post is just to announce that I'm back and to stay tuned for what I'm about to crank out.
